Some of my guests asked me where I purchased the company’s sailboat, the Sonora del Viento. All I need to answer this question is; St. Michaels! Nestled between Broad Creek and Miles River at the Eastern Shore, this place is probably the most beautiful place I have been to in the upper Chesapeake Bay. And this beauty is painted in this corner of the Earth in such a quiet, quaint way. And also in a highly maritime fashion. Although the town here mainly caters to tourism, don’t let that deter you. Cruising Destinations – Cape May, NJ

Imagine sitting in your cockpit in a glass-calm anchorage, other sailboats lazily returning to harbor while the sun goes down. Sky is painted in the most brilliant colors of the sunset, the western horizon in particular, in various colors as the light reflects off of the clouds. In the nearby Coat Guard recruiting station, someone is playing Taps on the bugle. The brass color of the instrument matches the sky.
